ICE your cell phone

The ICE Campaign was started by East Anglian Ambulance in the UK, whose staff often found themselves trying to figure out who to contact when they were called to an emergency and the patient was unable to tell them. If you were unable to tell others, who would you want others to contact you "In Case of Emergency"?

Vodafone jumped on board the campaign in April, and PC Magazine explains why it's better to ICE your phone than just expect emergency workers to look for mom's number.

Hi Scott,

I am new to blogger, and I am trying to figure out how you did something.......

How the HECK did you manage to create hotlinks inside your blog posts? For example, ICE Campaign, East Anglian Ambulance, and the Vodaphone article are ALL rollover hotlinks.

Moreover, I wish those articles opened in a NEW WINDOW.

Anyway, thanks if you get this comment and get back to me, and thanks for your blog. I am enjoying it greatly.

FYI I am a Landmark graduate and I completed the Partnership course. Not P&C yet.......

The link is easy - when you're composing, there's an icon in the top of the window that looks like a globe with two pieces of chain... highlight the words you want to link and then click on the globe. It pops up with a window to put where you want the link to take you.

As for new window, I have my blogroller set to open in new windows, but not my blog entries. Have to poke around and remember how to do that.
