CGT Presentation links - Intro Section
In the presentation I did today at the Conference for Global Transformation, I gave alot of information... Here are links for the opening part, with more to follow... (let me know if I'm missing anything.)
Summer Hill Seven's blog that I showed is here. (He has two other blogs here and here.) On Friday evening he shared his poem, Inspiration for a Neu Generation. It was incredible to hear him perform his poetry... I've ordered his book, Notes of a Neurotic - wondering how it is off the page instead of the stage.
Doc Searl's weblog was the first example of using a blog much more to it's potential, with lots of links and pulling what others say into the conversation. (And if you haven't yet read The Cluetrain Manifesto, you don't know what you're missing!)
Rebecca MacKinnon's was the second blog I showed that's great to learn from (be careful... you may get sucked in for hours...)
And then there's Amber MacArthur - I showed her blog, but she also has a couple of great podcasts - "CommandN" (video) and "Inside the Net" (you'll find it here, all about Web 2.0 stuff). Or, you may want to download I-tunes and subcribe to one or both podcasts).
Jon Stewart talking about blogs - this is the whole clip (I showed a shorter version).
The Apple 30th Anniversary Show on This Week in Tech and the quotes I took from it:

The Apple 30th Anniversary Show on This Week in Tech and the quotes I took from it:
- Regarding the question of whether they were revolutionaries - "It's not like we were a clan against the world... It's like we had this amazing opportunity to do something wonderful."
- Referring to what would have happened if not for Apple - "It would have happened anyway... just too much stuff moving in that direction..."
